About the event
We've created this class for absolute beginners who want to learn the basics of lindy hop. This term lasts 7 weeks (following the school calender) and on the first class, we assume you know nothing.
Each class will progress and build on what you have learnt before. By the end of the course, you will be able to social dance to amazing swing music, and your body will have the confidence to enjoy the dance! People who enjoy this class are couples looking to start a hobby together, leaders who want to learn how to follow (and vice versa), and people who love swing Music and who just want to dance every single week and enjoy the commmunity we've built.
You are welcome to drop in any time during each term, but if you really know nothing about dancing, then please try and start at the beginning of each term - otherwise, do book a private and see if we can get you up to speed :)
This course starts on Jun 8th 2022 and ends on 20th July. We will be focussing on Basic 8 count moves and will incorporate them into the charleston.
