If you have been to a million Beginners' classes elsewhere and just want to improve your technique and get better, come for this class for individual feedback and lots of technique. This is a 'Everyone Leads and Everyone follows' class and it is drop in for dancers with some experience.

This class is created for people who are no longer beginners and just want to get better. We tailor the class to our students and the classes are faster paced and more difficult. This is an everyone leads and everyone follows class, so I expect to see some experienced leads in this class who want to get better at their following! 

If you are looking for a longer, fast paced class with more challenge, this is for you! 

Level info:

Improvers: 

1) You would have attended a few swing classes from other schools before Or

2 ) You would have attendedat least two swing state absolute beginners courses Or

3) You know you are a fast learner in dance or have experience in other partner dances Or

4) You are an experienced lead/follow and want to start to learn the other role Or

5) We told you personally to come :) 

19:30- 20:30 - Absolute Beginners' Course 

20:30-21:00 - Practice and social time with snacks and drinks 

21:00 - 22:00- Improvers' class 

Cost: 

£10 per adult, £50 for 6 classes. Pay in person in cash, card, or online at the Lantern Website here. (Just leave your name in the comments and we will sort the rest).

Bring:

Evidence of vaccination and a negative Lateral Flow Test

A partner of any gender if you feel unsafe with rotating partners 

Water bottle

Non restrictive clothes and shoes that you are comfortable with moving around (Sneakers, jeans, flared skirts, jersey tops). 

 

How to get to Centre Courts Dance Studio: Exit Wimbledon train station at the side entrance by turning left of the turnstiles. Walk past the upper level of centre court (past Costa ) and go to the lower level, where Tesco and M&S are. Continuing walking down through centre court, pass Smiggle, Boots, Superdrug & Holland and Barrett. Then entrance of the studio will be on your left, opposite Lakeland. See you there! 

Driving instructions : You can park at Centre Court shopping centre and take the lift to the lower ground floor, exit the lift and the studio will be past H&M and to your right.
