About the event

RSVP here for either the Progressive Absolute beginenrs class AND/OR the Improvers class.

Details of Absolute Beginners' class:

We've created this class for absolute beginners who want to learn the basics of lindy hop. This term lasts 7 weeks (following the school calender) and on the first class, we assume you know nothing.

Each class will progress and build on what you have learnt before. By the end of the course, you will be able to social dance to amazing swing music, and your body will have the confidence to enjoy the dance! People who enjoy this class are couples looking to start a hobby together, leaders who want to learn how to follow (and vice versa), and people who love swing Music and who just want to dance every single week and enjoy the commmunity we've built.

You are welcome to drop in any time during each term, but if you really know nothing about dancing, then please try and start at the beginning of each term - otherwise, do book a private and see if we can get you up to speed :)

This course starts on 7th Sept - 19th Oct 2022. We will be focussing on Basic 8 count moves and will incorporate them into the Swing our and Lindy Turn.

Scroll down and click on the RSVP button.

If you are looking for a longer, fast paced class with more challenge, then stay for the Improvers class on the same night, from 21:00 - 22:00

Details of Improvers' class:

If you have been to a million Beginners' classes elsewhere and just want to improve your technique and get better, come for this class for individual feedback and lots of technique. We tailor the class to our students and the classes are faster paced and more difficult. This is a 'Everyone Leads and Everyone follows' class and it is drop in for dancers with some experience.  I expect to see some experienced leads in this class who want to get better at their following and vice versa!

If you are looking for a longer, fast paced class with more challenge, this is for you!
