About the event

We've created this class for absolute beginners who want to learn the basics of lindy hop. Each term lasts 5-6 weeks (following the school calender) and on the first class, we assume you know nothing.

Each class will progress and build on what you have learnt before. By the end of the 6 weeks, you will be able to social dance to amazing swing music, and your body will have the confidence to enjoy the dance! People who enjoy this class are couples looking to start a hobby together, leaders who want to learn how to follow (and vice versa), and people who love swing Music and who just want to dance every single week and enjoy the commmunity we've built.

You are welcome to drop in any time during each term, but if you really know nothing about dancing, then please try and start at the beginning of each term!

This term starts on Nov 10 and ends on 8th Dec. We will be focussing on THE SIX COUNT Lindy Hop. Dawn will be teaching with Paul - A swingstate friend and regular.

If you are looking for a faster paced class with more challenge, then navigate back to the previous page and check out the Monday night Wimbledon class!

The rehearsal studio will be behind you.
