5/5 - All levels ! Balboa Taster Class + Party

Celebrate the end of term and the end of our second absolute beginner's course with something completely different! An all levels baboa taster class. 

Both absolute beginners and improvers will join this class from 19:30 - 20:45 and we will teach you the very basics of Balboa - there will be something for everyone. Everyone of all levels are invited to drop in and join this class.

After class we will play music and we can all social dance and get to know each other. I will be bringing snacks and drinks and it would be fantastic if we could all bring something to share. 

After that we will break for 2 weeks, and classes will resume on the 13th of April. The next Absolute beginner's course will focus on 6 count moves and 8 count moves.   

Timing: 

19:30- 20:45 - ALl levels class - Balboa Taster  

20:45- 22:00 - Social Dancing and Party time with snacks and drinks

Cost:

£10 per adult per class, £50 for 6 classes. Pay in person in cash, card, or online at the Lantern Website here. (Just leave your name in the comments and we will sort the rest).

Bring:

Evidence of vaccination and a negative Lateral Flow Test

A partner of any gender if you feel unsafe with rotating partners 

Water bottle

Non restrictive clothes and shoes that you are comfortable with moving around (Sneakers, jeans, flared skirts, jersey tops). 

How to get to the Lantern Arts Centre. When you get to the main entrance of the Lantern Arts Centre, resist the urge to enter via the red doors, cafe or sanctuary. Instead, turn left and head down Tolverne road. Ring the bell for 'rehearsal studio' and we will let you in. Then, walk through one set of doors and walk UP the stairs. The rehearsal studio will be behind you.
