Monday Wimbledon: Improvers, Perf class and social with Dawn and Moh

Welcome to our classes in Wimbledon for Improvers and intermediates! 

If you are an absolute beginner who wants to learn all the basics, then try our Absolute beginners courses in Raynes Park class on Wednesdays. 

7:30 - 8:30 Improvers class (Everyone leads and everyone follows)

 

8:35-9:00: Social Dancing with wine and nibbles from SwingLoaf  (BYO drinks or voluntary donation of £3)

9:00-10:00: For this term only, the intermediate class will turn into the PERFORMANCE CLASS. This class is by invite only as we will be practicing for our performance on the 27th Nov 2021. 

Bring:

No need to bring a partner - we will rotate

Comfy shoes and clothes that will enable you to move freely

Water bottle

Wine (!!)

Cost: 

£11 SIngle class 

£16 Both classes

£3 voluntary contribution to wine and nibbles

Pay in person by cash or card, or paypal. 

Reminder:  Please RSVP because places are limited. And please be vaccinated or provide a negative lateral flow test to attend class.  

Level info:

Improvers:

1) You would have attended a few swing classes from other schools before Or

2 ) You would have attended two swing state absolute beginners courses Or

3) You know you are a fast learner in dance or have experience in other partner dances Or

4) We told you personally to come :)

Intermediates:

Before class we will play a song and you should be happy to social dance to it and try out your moves, which include lindy turns, swing outs and a combination of 6 count and 8 count moves in your chosen role of lead or follow. We teach both lead AND follow in class so you will be challenged in class when you need to lead an intermediate move when you are used to following (and vice versa). FUN!!

How to get to the Mansel Centre. When you get to the Mansel centre, look to the left of the building and walk down the little path into the building, enter via the modern double glass doors, then head all the way down into the building into room one. Do not use the main church entrance!
